Now more than ever, the luxury market is flooded with counterfeit items and replicas of the most exclusive brands.

More and more people are affected by this issue when they decide to purchase vintage or second-hand items through various platforms, or even in person. In most cases, when an incident occurs, it's due to a lack of knowledge.

You can't always rely on immediate evaluation and authentication services, especially when the desire for a particular piece is so strong that some choose to take the risk rather than lose it. This, along with other factors, creates the perfect storm for disaster due to ignorance. The point is, if you're going to take the risk, make sure you reduce the chances of failure as much as possible.

That’s why, due to the success of previous editions of my Master Class "Real or Fake, By Leous Von Rosenthal", I’m excited to offer another opportunity to help you navigate this complex world with knowledge and confidence.

I have decided to reopen my "Real or Fake, By Leous Von Rosenthal" Master Class in a regular format, so don’t take any more risks—learn with me how to spot a fake item.

The Master Class is structured as follows:

Part I: Introduction and Theory

I will teach you the basic concepts, key details, and important aspects you need to know to recognize some of the most common counterfeits at first glance.

Catering: We will take a break to solidify the knowledge and answer any questions or doubts you may have while enjoying a gourmet snack and a refreshing drink.

Part II: Practice and Development

We will put the theoretical knowledge into practice with different in-person examples, where you will need to identify the genuine item among the imitations—or vice versa.

I will be reopening my famous Master Classes, aimed at those interested in the world of fashion; those who run businesses related to luxury brands, and especially individuals who frequently purchase second-hand or vintage luxury items.

In my Master Class, you will learn in the simplest way possible how to recognize original items from fakes, replicas, and imitations of various qualities.

I will provide you with the most important tips to consider and the key things to focus on to spot and/or discard counterfeit items.

The Master Class consists of a theoretical and practical component, so you will be able to test your knowledge and what you've learned with a selection of original items and counterfeits of different qualities, specially prepared for this, ensuring varying levels of difficulty.

The Master Class cycle will be held both in-person at my studio and also online.

Each in-person MasterClass lasts for 3 hours. At the end of the theoretical part, you will have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you wish. What is most important to me is that we reach the practical part with as much knowledge as possible and as few doubts as possible, since you will work with both fake and authentic items, putting what you've learned during the Master Class to the test.

Please keep in mind that attending and passing the "Real or Fake" Master Class by Leous Von Rosenthal will not make you an authenticator or evaluator. Becoming one requires a lot of practice, study, knowledge, and, of course, experience.

The purpose of my Master Class is to better prepare you and provide an essential knowledge base that will be incredibly helpful when deciding to buy luxury brand items in the second-hand or vintage market. For those working in the industry, it will serve as training, as well as the development of their skills. In this Master Class, we will discuss and practice everything from the most basic concepts and mistakes to some of the more complex ones.
